Norway is facing a shortage of workers in 193 occupations, as revealed by the EURES 2023 report on shortages and redundancies.

Shortages are spread across many sectors, including cleaning, food preparation, hospitality, personal services, IT, healthcare, construction and engineering, reports Schengen.news.info. 

Furthermore, Norway was among the six EU countries with the highest number of occupations in shortage.

Some of the sectors facing shortages in Norway, according to the latest EURES report, include:

-Kitchen helpers
-Crane drivers
-Butchers, fishmongers and related food preparers
-Structural metal preparers and erectors -Floor
and tilers
-Security
guards -Station staff
-Waiters
-Information Office Workers -Sanctuary

-Musicians, Singers and Composers
-Systems Administrators
-Staff and Career Professionals -Special
Needs Teachers
-Physicians Specialists
