Gun attack in the US / 3 teenagers killed and 15 injured after a conflict

A tragic incident in Young Park, Las Cruces, New Mexico, where three people were killed and 15 others were injured after a shooting at a car show. According to Police Chief Jeremy Story, the incident occurred around 10 p.m. local time and erupted after a conflict between two groups, which escalated into gunfire.

The victims of the attack are two 19-year-olds and a 16-year-old. Meanwhile, the injured range in age from 16 to 36. Seven of them were rushed to El Paso for further treatment, while four others were treated and released from the hospital. The condition of the other four injured remains uncertain.

Greek police have launched an investigation into the incident, but have not yet made any arrests. Authorities said they are following several leads and have asked for the community's help to identify the possible perpetrators.

Las Cruces Mayor Eric Enriquez called the incident a "sad day" for the city and called for unity in the face of the tragedy. New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham also expressed her deep concern about the attack, noting the city's violent crime rate, which is up 46% from last year.

Las Cruces, located on the edge of the Chihuahuan Desert, about 41 miles from the border with Mexico, is facing a wave of violence that has shaken the local community. /CNA
