Real Estate Market Survey/BoA: 50% of properties were purchased with credit

The Bank of Albania has published today data from the Real Estate Market Survey for the second half of 2024. The survey conducted during this period shows that about 50% of properties sold were purchased with bank loans, most with coverage of up to 60% of the property value and a slight increase in entities that have made sales.

-The interest of non-resident buyers, especially from EU countries, continues.

-The average sales time has decreased, especially in the Tirana region.

-Housing prices are increasing in almost all areas.

Expectations for the next 6 months:

• Price increase

• More properties for sale in Tirana and on the coast /CNA
