The Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, received today in a courtesy meeting the Ambassador of Hungary to Albania, H.E. Mrs. Martina Kasnyik.

The Governor briefed the Ambassador on the country's economic developments, emphasizing that the Albanian economy is on a positive development trend and, according to forecasts, will continue to grow at a solid pace.

He highlighted that the banking system and Hungarian investments in this sector have also contributed to supporting the initiatives of the Bank of Albania and the country's economic growth, while simultaneously serving as a "bridge" for contemporary European investments and experiences.

Governor Sejko also focused on the very important process of Albania's European membership, stating that the support of a member country of the European Union, such as Hungary, remains of particular importance for Albania's full integration into the EU. /CNA
