The Deputy Minister of Finance, Besart Kadia, has stated that there will be no change in the price of electricity for businesses until December 31.

 "In 2009, 4.3% of the population spent more than 600k. The good news is that Albania has not felt the energy change that all other countries have felt. The good news is again that Albania has not yet increased the price of energy for the general population. If we had a price change in businesses, inflation would be transmitted directly to citizens and makes businesses not go bankrupt.

Until December 31, there will be no price change for businesses. Do not raise the price for the citizens for a year and a half, this is something good for the citizens. Every family has this thing, the one who pays the money when he sees a light on goes and turns it off, the same thing should be thought about the state as well. What we need to understand is that really those who spend the most are 4% but spend as much 20% of citizens. What is important is that it has never been thought that the price has increased 20 times more and for example in Kosovo the energy has been cut off. It is certain that Albania will never have an interruption and will be managed in other ways. Albania will pass this crisis without feeling it at all because we have the resources." -  said Besard Kadia in "Top Story"./ CNA.al
