The price of energy above 800 kwh/ FSHU requires the approval of the new tariff

Meanwhile, the costs of energy prices for the next year may be burdened if the transmission operator's application to increase the transmission fee from 0.85 ALL/kWh to 2.20 ALL/kWh is approved.

OSHEE has applied to ERE through the universal service supplier for an increase in the price of energy for consumption over 800 kilowatt hours per month for household customers for the period October-December 2022.

In the application, it is stated that KESH has increased the average purchase price of energy from FSHU for consumption over 800 kilowatt hours nw month for family customers from 2.6 ALL/kWh to 34.3 ALL/kWh.

The increase is over 1300% and only for three months the additional cost that will be borne by the pockets of citizens who exceed the monthly consumption over 800 kilowatts is 1.8 billion ALL, or about 16 million euros.

But 34.3 Lek/kWh is not the price that families will pay, as FSHU will also add other operating costs that it has calculated at 8.5 Lek/kWh.
