The Eriola Hoxha scandal has taken on new dimensions. The denunciation published tonight, April 23, on the investigative show "Stop" comes following investigations into a series of denunciations of financial fraud.

According to the complaint made by citizen Durim Hoxha, he was contacted by Eriola Hoxha, who promised him a doubling of the amount if he invested 10 thousand euros.

According to him, she was introduced to him as an expert at the Bank of Albania, creating confidence in the agreement.

The complainant states that on September 1, 2025, he gave her the sum of 10 thousand euros, with the promise that he would receive 20 thousand euros by October 1. But after the deadline, the money was not returned and communication with Eriola was interrupted.

After the report, the State Police has reviewed the case and, according to officers of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, other similar complaints have also been filed against her.

Authorities confirm that she is currently in Pogradec prison and is under investigation for a series of financial fraud cases.

The police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, are working to merge all existing and new reports, with the aim of fully uncovering the suspected scheme.
