The political leader of the DP, Belind Kelliçi, has forged the exclusive documents that show the connections of the mayor Erion Veliaj with the business of waste treatment and recycling in Tirana.

According to the documents, which were submitted to SPAK by Kelliçi a day ago, it is proven that the de facto owner of the Tirana incinerator, Erion Veliaj, negotiated all the financial relationships of this business.

According to Decision No. 5 of the ECO Tirana Assembly, under the direction and presidency of Erion Veliaj, the latter assumes the role of negotiator between Vladimir Fezga and the Tirana incinerator.

Fezga sells the shares, but surprisingly does not receive a single lek. Then Veliaj, through a contract kept secret, decided to transfer the shares of ECO Tirana to the Tirana incinerator. Even for this contract, Erion's business, Incinerator of Tirana, did not pay a penny.

According to the suspicions, this whole scheme was set up for money laundering and loss of traces, since the company ECO Recycling, at the moment the concession contract for 30 years is signed, should no longer exist, since the recycling process was exclusive to the Tirana Incinerator.

In order to prove to SPAK that ECO Recycling has continued its business in the Sharra landfill, attached to our report are all the explanatory notes of the company's balance sheets.

In the filed report there are also data on the financial loss suffered by the Municipality of Tirana with Erion Veliajt's own firm, for giving the recycling business to his directors '5D'.

I call on the SPAK to immediately register this criminal complaint against their colleague and the de facto owner of the Tirana Incinerator, citizen Erion Veliaj, who together with his electoral staff 5D, should be investigated under the charge of the Structured Criminal Group and the Anti-Mafia Law should be brought into play for the seizure of all the assets of this criminal organization", Kelliçi said./ CNA
