Senior American officials "land" in Tirana, meeting with Rama

The American Embassy in Tirana has announced on Wednesday that they have arrived for an official visit to Albania, Suzy George, Chief of Cabinet of the US Department of State, accompanied by Rena Bitter, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, Mara Tekach, coordinator on Afghan Resettlement Efforts and Daniel Forbes, CARE's chief of staff.

During their stay in Albania, the American officials will meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister Igli Hasani and government officials. 

"Suzy George, Chief of Staff of the US State Department, arrived in Tirana, accompanied by Rena Bitter, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, Mara Tekach, Coordinator on Afghan Resettlement Efforts (CARE) and Daniel Forbes, Chief of the CARE Cabinet, for an official visit to Albania. During their visit, the delegation will meet with the Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani, government officials, specialists from different sectors and will visit the Afghans evacuated to Shengjin.
