The large fire that has been active for 3 days in Mount Dry, near the state border with the Republic of North Macedonia, endangers the protected area of ??the Prespa National Park.

The fire extinguishing operation continued today. Forces from the Pustec Municipality, the Regional Agency of Protected Areas, the Drenovë (Korçë) Military Department, the General Directorate for Fire Protection and Rescue in the Ministry of the Interior, with the support of the Cougar helicopter and two planes sent by the Macedonian side, have been engaged in the field. .
