Fires in the country/ Here's how the situation has been in the last 24

The National Civil Protection Agency has shown how the fire situation in the country has been for the last 24 hours.

According to the data, 24 fires have been reported, all of which have been extinguished.

These fires have been identified in the municipalities of Vlora, Vau i Dejës, Malesia e Madhe, Rrogozhina, Durrës, Fier, Kuçova, Lezha, Kurbin and Has.

The fires have mainly affected vegetation, burning about 9 hectares of bushes and grass as well as 200 olive trees in the hearth identified in the village of Frakull, in the municipality of Fier.

In two cases, fires were reported in two apartments, one in the village of Zagorë, Malësi e Madhe municipality and the other in an uninhabited house in a place called "Mali i Kolajt", Velipojë. As a result, only material damage was caused.

32 firefighting vehicles and 223 operational forces were deployed in all firefighting operations.

For today, the Institute of Geosciences forecasts a "HIGH" risk level in the regions of Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Berat and Fier, while in the other regions a "MODERATE" risk level is expected.

The entire civil protection system is monitoring the situation and ready to provide immediate support if necessary.

In these days of high temperatures and increased risk of fires, citizens must show maximum caution and responsibility. Avoid any action that could cause a fire, such as lighting fires in open spaces, burning waste, or throwing flammable objects in nature.

Any fire incident must be immediately reported to local authorities.
