The head of the department of foreign relations in the Democratic Party, Ilda Zhulali, has stated that the scandal with MCGonigal, who has accepted the blame and accused of corruption, will lead to a review of the ex-prime minister Sali Berisha's non-wife.

Invited to the show Open, Zhulali said that McGonigal caught in corruption with Prime Minister Rama to hit the opposition, according to her, demented the case of Berisha and his wife.  

"Transparency is key and Mr. Berisha did not ask for this alone. One of the American congressmen has asked the American State Department to be aware of the facts about Mr. Berisha. He asked several times in writing. Mr. Berisha's case is exposing itself in a different way and is getting a review not only from Republicans but also Democrats, through the McGonigal case.

Caught in corruption with the Albanian prime minister to hit the opposition of his country, I think the case of Mr. Berisha and his wife is demented. He has accepted the charge. He has pleaded guilty to all the questions asked. This is the legal issue.
