During the month of October, archaeologists have discovered the third mound, near the tumulus cemetery in Himarë, which presents unique elements of the architecture of the construction of hill tombs.

Prime Minister Rama has published some pictures and in addition informs that these discovered objects belong to the early iron period (XI-X centuries BC). The prehistoric mounds of Himara are considered the most astonishing monuments of the Bronze and Iron Age on the Ionian coast.
