New details emerge regarding the arrest of several businessmen, including Artur Shehu, who are suspected of having combined drug trafficking and money laundering in our country.

Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha has managed to obtain part of the file of the GJKKO decision on the security measure. Spanish justice authorities have presented data as part of a criminal investigation related to the international trafficking of cocaine from South America to Europe.

According to documents included in an international letter of intent, several people have been identified as participants in meetings held in various European countries and abroad, which, according to investigators, are related to the planning and coordination of drug trafficking operations.

The names Artur Shehu, Adrian Rama, Elton Memeti and Erjon Rama are mentioned, who according to Spanish authorities have participated in various meetings in Spain, Monaco, Germany, Belgium, Aruba and other countries. Investigators claim that in these meetings operations related to the purchase, transportation and introduction of large quantities of cocaine into the European market were discussed and planned.

According to the investigative material, other people were also involved in various meetings. The documents also contain photographs and references to meetings held in Monaco, Antwerp, Belgium, and Mallorca, Spain.

The document also mentions communication between the persons under investigation and the organization of meetings in various locations, which according to investigators played a role in coordinating the suspected criminal activity.

"The Spanish authorities have presented data regarding the persons under investigation Artur Shehu, Adrian Rama, Erjon Rama, Elton Memeti regarding the extent of their participation in the various meetings ascertained during the investigation, with particular emphasis on the meetings held in connection with cocaine trafficking from Surinam to Europe. He participates in several meetings in Belgium with the citizen Alfredo Hamzai and his son, Arten Hamzai. He is also accompanied in these meetings by the person under investigation Elton Memeti.

The person under investigation, Artur Shehu, has been investigated within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1069/2018 as a participant in various meetings held in various countries in Europe and America, with the aim of purchasing, transporting and introducing large quantities of drugs into Europe. He has participated in meetings in Majorca with the citizen Bashkim Osmani (a citizen of Kosovo), Toni Lipaj, Artur Shehu, Arben Ismailaj and others.
