"They're doing it for virality"/ Rama's comment on the convoys of protesters from the diaspora

At the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Prime Minister Edi Rama commented on the arrival of vehicles with protesters from the diaspora in Albania.

According to reports, in the closed-door meeting, Rama said that he had been sent the video of the cars in Muriqan, where he stated that only the driver was in the vehicle. According to him, everything is paid for and done for virality.

"I received a video where convoys of cars with only the driver inside are passing through Muriqan. It's paid, they're doing it for virality,"  the prime minister is reported to have said. 

We remind you that today is the 21st protest against the government, while earlier immigrants arrived in the capital with vehicles covered in red and black flags.

Their participation was announced at yesterday's rally during citizens' speeches. /CNA
