The murder of Vajdin Lamaj/ GJKKO closes the case for Lul Berisha and Plarent

The Special Court dismissed the criminal case against Plarent Dervishaj and Lulzim Berisha, who are accused of murdering Vajdin Lamaj.

The dismissal of the case was made after the request of SPAK.

Lulzim Berisha and Plarent Dervishaj were under investigation for the murders of Vajdin Lamaj and Klodjan Saliu. The two cases were investigated separately.

We recall that Vajdin Lamaj was killed on February 27, 2005. He was beheaded in the building where he lived, on "Dervish Hima" street, in Tirana. The explosion also killed Lamaj's friend, Artan Arsi. 

Investigations into this event were suspended due to non-disclosure of the perpetrators of the crime.

After the resumption of investigations, the Special Prosecutor's Office collected evidence, which created reasonable doubts regarding the authors of this serious criminal event and the assassination of Klodjan Saliu.

The latter was killed a day before Lamaj on the Tirana-Durres highway, while he was driving his "Benz" car./ CNA
