The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted from prison regarding the murder of judge Astrit Kalaja.
Through a post, Meta describes the event as a terrorist act.
Meta has called for this act to be punished with the harshest legal punishment.
"The execution of the acting judge, Astrit Kalaja, inside the Court of Appeals is a terrorist act that strikes at the heart of the rule of law and constitutional order.
This very serious crime, which deserves severe legal punishment, is not accidental, but the result of the Government's incrimination with criminal segments, which has led to the failure to guarantee order and safety of life.
"Expressing my deepest condolences to the Kalaja family and my fellow judges, I express my deep conviction that a national awakening to overcome the fear of crime that has gripped the state is the only way to guarantee the safety of life and restore the rule of law," Meta said. /CNA
