Video/ Morning Prayer in Albanian, in the European Parliament

On the 26th anniversary of the Morning Prayer in the European Parliament, the Morning Prayer was held in the Albanian language.

This prayer was read by Don Kastriot Idrizi Gjoni, responsible for the Albanian Catholic community in Belgium.

Hundreds of Albanians gathered during this prayer that was organized by MEPs Lukas Mandl and Catharina Rinzema.

This year's Morning Prayer was held at a time when the world and humanity are facing various conflicts and security crises, so prayer messages were addressed to state leaders for peace and humanity to prevail.

Don Kastriot Idrizi, in the closing prayer of this organization, called on Europe, the whole world and all the leaders, may God direct their minds and hearts according to his will, to seek the brave paths towards true peace, so that progress of nations, freedom, faith, respect for immigrants and care for the earth be our collective focus and invited all participants to pray to the Father in their native language./ CNA
