A major anti-drug operation was completed on Friday evening by the Korçë Local Police Directorate. It is learned that 13 arrest warrants were issued during the operation.
The operation, developed in the wake of the 2 mega-operations "Knock Down" finalized 1 year ago, for the attack of criminal activities in the field of production and sale of narcotics, possession of weapons without permission and cultivation of narcotic plants.
Within it, 43 citizens were criminally prosecuted, of which 10 were detained, 6 were arrested in the act, 3 were declared wanted and 24 others are being investigated at large.
During the operation, a total of 9 kg of suspected narcotic cannabis, 388 grams of cocaine, 1 firearm, military ammunition, cannabis seedlings, LED lamps, 9 vehicles, 6 electronic scales, 28 mobile phones and sums of money and euros, benefited from the activity, were seized. criminal.
Specialists for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic and Narcotics of DVP Korçë in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Korçë, after a 6-month in-depth proactive investigation, for the crackdown on criminal activities in the field of production and sale of narcotics, illegal possession of weapons and cultivation of narcotic plants, organized and successfully completed the coded police operation "Knock Down 3".
During this operation, 13 security measures "Arrest in prison" were issued by the Korçë Judicial District Court, of which the investigative structures in cooperation with the Special Forces "Shqiponja" of the DVP Korçë have executed 10 detention measures specifically against citizens:
– PP, 31 years old; PA, 19 years old; BR, 46 years old; TR, 38 years old; EB, 36 years old, MK, 29 years old; EF, 26 years old; GK, 40 years old; D. Xh., 39 years old and MK, 23 years old, residents of Korça. The following citizens were also declared wanted:
-EK, 32 years old; MD, 22 years old; EN, 23 years old, resident of Korça.
From the above-mentioned structures within the framework of this proceeding, a total of 6 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto, specifically:
- MP, 23 years old; ID, 26 years old; G. R., 32 years old; AS, 36 years old; DQ, 27 years old and NL, 19 years old, residents of Korça. 24 other citizens are also being investigated at large.
During the "Knock Down 3" operation, the following were seized as material evidence:
- 388 grams of cocaine divided into doses;
– 9 kilograms of cannabis;
– 1 pistol-type firearm and combat ammunition;
– 9 vehicles;
– 28 mobile devices;
– 6 electronic scales;
- an amount in Lek and Euro, profited from the criminal activity;
- seedlings grown in plastic cups; 2 neon led lamps.
The operative-tracking and procedural work continues, for the legal documentation of the criminal activity in charge of other persons implicated in this illegal activity.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
