After the scandal with the intimate video where Safet Gjici was filmed having sex with a girl, journalist Eni Ferhati has revealed details about the initiation of criminal proceedings against the former mayor.

Ferhati stated that the video was recorded 10 days ago in the mayor's office by a camera placed in a bag.

As soon as SPAK became aware of this video, it started a criminal proceeding to investigate what happened.

" For several hours, a video of an erotic nature has been circulating that at first glance appears to be the mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, in his office. In an official response, the fact has been confirmed that as soon as the special prosecutor's office became aware of this video, a criminal proceeding was initiated to investigate what happened.

From this material, it can be seen that the video was shot on June 6 at around 16:00, 10 days ago. The camera is suspected to have been placed on a removable object suspected to be a bag. It is not yet known on what charges SPAK registered this criminal proceeding", said Ferhati./CNA
