African heat wave/ the 3 counties that will "burn" from high

Meteorologist Lajda Porja has announced that our country will remain under the influence of the African heat wave until the middle of the week, where temperatures are expected to rise above 40 degrees Celsius.

The 3 counties that will have the highest temperatures will be Elbasan, Shkodra and Berat.

Temperatures will start to decrease gradually during Thursday, where the thermometer is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius.

" It is predicted that Albania will remain in the African heat wave, although in the suburbs, starting from today until Thursday, the weather will be hot. Very high temperatures are waiting for us in 3 districts, Shkodër, Elbasan and Berat , where temperatures will reach 40 degrees and slightly above 40.

As for the second part of the week, from Thursday, we have a withdrawal of the wave, making Thursday and Friday cool, we will even have temperatures up to 35 degrees and the presence of precipitation, although more focused will be on mountainous areas.

As for Kosovo and Macedonia, they are expected to remain in the African heat wave. "Thursday and Friday will bring clouds and rain showers, most visible in Kosovo, and a drop in temperatures up to 4 degrees Celsius," the meteorologist said./ CNA
