The moment of arrest

A police officer in Saranda has been handcuffed together with another person.

The arrested are the police officer with the initials RB, with the duty of the Service Corps at the Saranda Border Police Station, as well as the citizen with the initials SV, his accomplice, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics carried out in cooperation" and " Possession, production without permission of weapons and ammunition".

The two citizens arrested in cooperation with each other, using a "Beach Bar" bar in the city of Saranda to camouflage the illegal activity, distributed narcotic substances of the cannabis sativa type to different citizens, benefiting from significant amounts of money.

A firearm was also found in the premises of the bar, without a permit.

In the quality of material evidence, a quantity of narcotic substance about 100 doses, an unlicensed TT type firearm, two mobile devices, a vehicle and a monetary amount of 555 euros, 20 pounds and 20,000 lek were seized.

The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë./ CNA
