The University of Tirana condemns the attack on lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi

The University of Tirana has condemned the attack on lecturer and lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi and wishes their colleague a speedy recovery.

"The University of Tirana condemns the aggressive attack on the lecturer of the Faculty of Law and lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi. We expect and believe that the police and the prosecution will find out as soon as possible the authors and motives of this criminal and dangerous attack. The staff of the University of Tirana is in these moments near the family of Sokol Mengjes", the press release states. 

The lawyer of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha was raped this morning in the area of ??the former Block in Tirana. 

The morning was hit with a crowbar by 3 unidentified people and it is suspected that the incident happened for property reasons. 

The morning is receiving medical help at the hospital, while the police are investigating the motives of the event and the arrest of the perpetrators./ CNA
