Arrested for abuse of tenders/Lefter Alla is fired

Today, the Council of Ministers made the decision to dismiss the mayor of Bulqiza.

Lefter Alla has been arrested by SPAK, after being accused of abusing the tender for the Water Supply Company worth over 322 million new ALL.

The former socialist mayor has the right to appeal his dismissal within 15 days to the Constitutional Court.

DECISION ON THE DISMISSAL OF THE MAYOR OF BULQIZE MUNICIPALITY, Mr. LEFTER ALLA

In support of articles 100 and 115, point 1, of the Constitution, and letter "a", of article 62, of law no. 139/2015, "On local self-government", amended, with the proposal of the Minister of the Interior, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

The dismissal from office, due to serious violations, of the mayor of Bulqiza, Mr. Lefter Alla.

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette", the government announces./ CNA.al
