Today begins the holy month of Ramadan, where Muslim believers fast. The month of Ramadan ends on April 20, while the night of Qadr this year is on April 17. Eid prayer on April 21.

The month of Ramadan is considered a period where the body and soul are purified. Every year for Ramadan, Muslims around the world fast for 30 days.

The President of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu, has invited all believers to be more in solidarity with families in need, to extend a hand to each other in good works during this blessed month.

Me rastin e fillimit të muajit të Ramazanit, ju përcjell urimet më të sinqerta që ky Ramazan të jetë muaji i faljes, muaji i begatisë, muaji mirëkuptimit të ndërsjelltë me njëri-tjetrin, muaji i ngritjes morale dhe shpirtërore, për përballimin me sukses të çdo vështirësie që kemi.

Gjatë Ramazanit ju ftojmë të jeni më solidarë me familjet në nevojë, t’i shtrijmë dorën njëri-tjetrit në punë të mira.

Dear believers, everything during this month has a much greater value, therefore people, through numerous personal sacrifices, aim to elevate themselves spiritually and get closer to God.

Also, this month is the month of charity works that impact the entire society. Let's put aside disagreements, grudges and selfishness.

Let's aim to achieve only God's pleasure and harmony with the people we surround ourselves with. I wish that this is the month of forgiveness for us.
