Tirana is "occupied" by tourists

Tirana "has been conquered" by tourists who have chosen Albania as their destination this summer.

The numbers of tourists come and grow, while we happen to exchange on the road with vacationers of all nations.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has published a photo from the boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation", where tourists move in groups.

"Good morning

and with this tourist parade in Tirana occupied as never before by foreign visitors, I wish you a beautiful Sunday", writes the head of the government.

We remind you that tourism has reached record numbers in 2024.

In total, in January-May, the number of foreigners who came to our country was over 3.3 million, or 38.2 percent more than the same period a year ago.

Regarding the month of June, more than 1 million passengers have passed through the international airport of Rinas./ CNA
