“Tetë vite më parë as nuk e mendoja”/ Veliaj:4.5 milionë turistë erdhën vjet në Shqipëri

Kryetari i Bashkisë së Tiranës, Erion Veliaj ka marrë pjesë në Konferencën Kombëtare Zgjedhore të Shoqatës së Restoranteve dhe Bujtinave Shqiptare.

Veliaj foli për rritje të turizmit në Tiranë, kryesisht gjatë viteve të fundit.

Sipas tij, virtyti ynë i mikpritjes si shqiptarë, i pranimit të tjetrit si bujtës në shtëpinë tonë, është kthyer në një biznes të jashtëzakonshëm vitet e fundit.

“Tetë vjet më parë nuk e mendoja se turizmi do ishte një pjesë kaq e fuqishme e ekonomisë së vendit. Numrat ishin modestë, kurrë nuk e kishim kaluar numrin e turistëve krahasuar me numrin e popullsisë. Atë vit ne kishim a s’kishim 100 mijë turistë në vit në Tiranë. Vjet ne kaluam shifrën e 4.5 milionë turistëve, duke u kthyer në një nga industritë kryesore të qytetit”, u shpreh Veliaj./CNA.al
