"Revenge for justice" takes the innocence/ the Supreme Court overturns

The Supreme Court did not accept the appeal of the Prosecution for Serious Crimes SPAK today, against the decision of the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes.

In 2017, the High Crimes Appeal acquitted all the so-called members of "Revenge for Justice".

The case was examined in the counseling room, a day ago by the jury Ilir Panda, Ervin Pupe and Enton Dhimitri.

They have rejected the arguments of the Prosecution for Serious Crimes that the members should be punished for some criminal offenses such as murder and criminal organization.

With the decision of the Supreme Court, the decision on the innocence of 10 persons remains in force.

The organization "Revenge for Justice" was publicly announced on October 13, 1996.

The trial against the organization began in 1998, but was returned for trial at the request of the main accused Orik Shyti.

The Shyti brothers are the sons of Aredin Shyti, one of the important figures of the Ministry of Interior in the communist dictatorship and in the government of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano in 1991. /CNA.al
