A 29-year-old man was put in police custody after being accused of threatening police officers with stones and attempting to steal the electricity cables of a building.

The arrested person is citizen B.S., 29 years old, resident of Elbasan. He was previously convicted of theft.

The police officers were just notified at midnight that the electricity cables of a building in the "Partizani" neighborhood were being stolen, and they intervened to arrest the perpetrator.

The 29-year-old man, as soon as he found the arrival of the Police services at the scene, threatened them with hard objects (stones).

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses for the criminal offenses "Theft", still pending, and "Threat due to duty". ;./ CNA
