The media situation created on the event that happened today in IEVP Peqin, forces us to react in the clarification of some issues related to the dynamics of the workload in the Albanian penitentiary system.

The reaction in the media and today's political folklorisms do not have the idea of ??the sacrifice of thousands of civil and uniformed employees, who every day face overload of work and service in prisons. Nor for the pressure and stress that is caused to them every moment by the world of crime, due to the duty of law enforcement.

It was almost 25 years that the system was swimming in turbulent situations, sometimes positive and many other times in mismanagement and demotivation of human resources. At the end of 2021, the long-awaited change took place, a new era of positive transformation began in terms of the radical improvement of wages and the dignified treatment of employees. Within a span of 2 years, salaries were increased, a year-end bonus was given after many years of neglect, the law was changed to give dignity to the Prison Police, now the new and complete uniform is being crowned, the process of transporting the staff from the apartment to the workplace, the new structure is being finalized along with the ranks and the food treatment will start next year, without forgetting the declared increase of 10% of the salary for all the police! This did not come from the sky nor did it happen as a contribution of some "folkloric analysts", who long ago "contributed" in weakening the system.
