Barometer findings/ Who is the most popular politician in Albania

The president is the most popular leader for Albanians. Ilir Meta, the most disliked leader.

These are the latest findings of the Leader Likeability Barometer. In this ranking, the Prime Minister comes immediately after the President with 47.8% approval rating. Next is Sali Berisha with a 10 point difference. Even lower is Lulëzim Basha with 21.9%, while the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, is liked by only 10% of the respondents.

Even for the negative opinion, the same approach is confirmed for political leaders. At the top is Ilir Meta with 85.2% and then in the ranking is Lulzim Basha with 73%, then Sali Berisha with 65.7%, Edi Rama with 49.4% and the President with 27.2%.

Compared over time, the measurements of the Barometer in Euronews Albania prove that the positive opinion of the leaders, regardless of the numbers, has increased for everyone compared to the last measurements made in January of this year.

Rama has increased in popularity among citizens by 11%, Berisha by approximately 10%, Lulzim Basha by 14% and Ilir Meta by 6%./ Euronews Albania
