The standard set by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, in relation to former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj is already being applied to the other two ministers of Prime Minister Rama, Mr. Ilir Beqaj, who is accused of several concessions in health and Mr. Damian Gjiknuri, former Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.

According to Duman's statements, a standard has been set, that is, corruption is investigated and then a property investigation is conducted to find out where the money went.

CNA, some time ago, in a note raised the question of whether there will be a property investigation for Ilir Beqaj, i.e. the same standard as followed for the former deputy prime minister.

And we have clearly been on the same line with Altin Duman, that there cannot be two standards in SPAK, one ministry should have his assets investigated and the other not.

Therefore, even today, Dumani gave the definitive answer, the standard has been set. Not only to control the procedure, corruption or accusations of corruption, but also the property investigation, concealment of wealth, etc.

So, today Altin Dumani confirmed what we had written and said the setting of a standard, the one that started with former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj. Already with the asset controls and the investigations made against Ilir Beqaj and Damian Gjiknuri, it seems that a more difficult situation is for these political figures.

Mr. Beqaj, accused of connection with his company, but also other assets, but the property investigations have also been deepened for Damian Gjiknuri, as it is suspected that the two former ministers of Rama have benefited from the concession contracts, from their individuals , the various hidden and undeclared assets, without going further into the fact that many of the ministers have traveled, spent money or slept on payments made by various businessmen and these are simple and we are just waiting for the full verification after the letters and information provided by SPAK.

Now the standard set by SPAK and Altin Dumani regarding the investigations of ministers or high officials who are being investigated for corruption, seems to affect not only Ilir Beqaj and his former colleague Damian Gjiknuri.

Several former ministers of Rama are also in line, specifically, the former Minister of Defense and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, who is also the beneficiary of a status of a strategic investor from the Albanian government for her family members./ CNA
