Expropriations for the road connecting Vlora airport begin/ Residents will be

The government has expropriated the owners of real estate that are affected by the implementation of the project "construction of the connecting road of the international airport of Vlora (Via), Fier - Vlora highway".

The decision was taken at today's meeting of the Council of Ministers. Expropriation is done in favor of the Albanian Road Authority.

The owners of private properties that are expropriated will be compensated for the assets of the "field" and "land" type, with a total value of 957,852 (nine hundred and fifty-seven thousand, eight hundred and fifty-two) ALL.

The general value of the expropriation will be borne by the state budget, while the value of the procedural expenses, in the amount of 50 thousand ALL, will be borne by the Albanian Road Authority.

The deadline for completing the expropriation is within 3 months from the date of entry into force of the decision.

The owners of real estate will be compensated, for the effect of expropriation, after they have submitted the justifying documentation for liquidation to the State Agency for Expropriation.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the Albanian Road Authority, the State Cadastre Agency, the Vlorë Local Directorate, the Land Administration and Protection Directorate at the Vlorë District Council and the State Agency for Expropriation have been entrusted with the implementation of this decision./ CNA
