SPAK completes the investigations for the former mayor of Bulqiza Lefter Alla

SPAK has closed the investigations against the former mayor of Bulqiza Lefter Alla and 10 other people, where he also communicated the official charges.

The former mayor of Bulqiza, Alla was charged with violation of equality in the tender for the rehabilitation of the water supply network in one of the neighborhoods of Bulqiza.

He is also charged with the criminal offense of 'abuse of duty'.

Lefter Alla was arrested by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

The mayor of the SP in Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, and 12 other people, 7 of them officials of the Municipality, were arrested for abusing the tender worth about 3 million euros.

They were handcuffed because it is suspected that they favored Alla's relative who carried out the water supply works.

The decision to dismiss him from office was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. / CNA
