Lefter Koka's excuses in GJKKO/ Kryemadhi is a soothsayer

The former Minister of the Environment, Lefter Koka, appeared today before the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime where he was justified for the accusations made against him regarding the incinerators issue.

Through the lawyer, Lefter Koka claimed that he did not commit any legal violation.

He stated that the payments for the Fier incinerator started in 2018, while he left office in 2017.

He stated that the accusation is based on the opinions of the fortune teller (Monika Kryemadhit) and not on evidence.

According to him, the evidence is fabricated.

"I was arrested and then shameful evidence was fabricated. Believing in (Meta, Kryemadhi) is like investing in Sudja in the days of bankruptcy. Someone in prison told me that he was arrested for evasion, I told him it's good that he doesn't know you Monika that you would be with me."

Lefter Koka's defense arguments:

1-An investigative file fractioned into pieces in order not to whitewash the truth and the responsibilities of each one.

2. The charge is an exact copy of the charge of the Elbasan trial with the same persons, the same companies and the same criminal facts, even the claim is the same.

3- The cost of the Fier plant has exceeded the value that the state has paid and the concessionaire has suffered heavy losses.

4- The administrator appointed by the state has verified that the concessionaire has paid 5.2 million euros for additional works, without receiving any funds from the state budget, and has suffered a loss of 3 million euros.

5. The investigation avoided and obstructed the truth about this plant by not carrying out an engineering expert act as it realized that it would fail in the charges if it had done one.

6. The procedure is in accordance with the law, filtered even by the members of the institutions that had the duty by law to filter and legally monitor it.

7- The issue of expropriation of land was judged with a final decision by the Administrative Court, which classified the expropriated property as "Land", while the Ministry of Environment expropriated it as "Area Land" with a value 6 times higher a little.

8- The works have started for the preparation of the site since 2017, according to the provisional permission of the municipality, this is also proven by the Decision of the Preliminary Judge of the case.

9-None of the persons questioned to date testify to having been influenced or to have given corruption money to Lefter Koka.

10-There is no recognition of Lefter Koka with the concessionaires.

11- The investigation and accusations are based only on some company invoices without analyzing and proving how these money went to Lefter Koka.

12-For each paragraph of the accusation, we have presented hundreds of documents and arguments that clearly prove the opposite?

13-Lefter Koka has no assets added after 2013, proven by the investigation and ILDKPKI. Where is the corruption money and how was it cleaned?

14-The property you want to seize has a value 4 times higher than the value of the alleged corruption.

15-No unjustified penny has been found in Lefter Koka's estate. Not a single cent has been seized as evidence of corruption.
