3 directors of Erion Veliaj have been arrested, while several other officials are under mandatory appearance in connection with the "5D" affair.

Triggered by these arrests by order of SPAK, CNA has opened a survey, where the question is asked: Thieving directors, should Veliaj resign ?

In this poll, citizens have 3 options: Yes ; No ; I do not know .

CNA invites citizens to express their opinion on whether or not the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, should resign.

We remind you that on March 28, arrest warrants were issued for the 3 directors of the municipality of Tirana, Redi Molla, Mariglen Qato and Taulant Tusha, while 6 other officials were forced to appear.

Tusha was arrested in December 2023 and is under accusation for the affair with the Tirana incinerator.

SPAK's investigations show that the directors of Veliaj had created the company "5D" and had benefited from dozens of municipal tenders.

In the conversations of the employees, the mayor of Tirana is also mentioned for shares in a Redi Molla hotel in Durrës, but Veliaj denied it.

CNA has learned that investigations are continuing and SPAK may arrest other directors of Erion Veliaj involved in corruption./ CNA
