Fire situation this Monday/ Ministry: 7 active fires across the country

The Ministry of Defense has announced that in the last few hours, 8 fires have been identified in the country's territory, of which 1 has been extinguished and 7 remain active.

Extinct: Vashtëmi Village, Libonik Local Government Area, Maliq Municipality.

Active focus:

Gurë-Lurë, Dibër Municipality (Lurë National Park). The fire is close to being contained and under control.

Allush Mountain, Klos Municipality

Skërficë, Delvinë Municipality. Currently, firefighters and Armed Forces troops are engaged in the depths of the burned area to isolate possible fires in the logs or in the soil layer.

Bolena, Himara Municipality

Gumenica, Municipality of Selenica

Dhores, Skrapar Municipality

Lusën, Municipality of Kukes

Over 25 Armed Forces personnel, firefighters, forest service personnel and firefighting vehicles have been deployed on the ground, in full coordination with local authorities.
