The patients' pockets were "shaken"/ After the doctor, two more are accompanied in the ranks of the "white shirts"

Today, on 23.09.22, after several weeks of investigative work with special investigation methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Tirana, the police operation "Scanner" was finalized.

From the investigative actions carried out on account of criminal proceedings no. 6013, year 2022, the following citizens were caught red-handed and escorted to the premises of the local police directorate in Tirana:

FM, by profession resuscitation physician;

KB with nurse door; AND

SB, on medical duty.

From the investigations carried out so far, it was found that these citizens received significant sums of money from oppressed patients for performing scans at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

Investigations continue to document other actions carried out by other medical personnel involved in this corruption scheme.
