Trafficking in human beings/ Prosecution closes investigations for 3 defendants

The prosecution at the Court of First Instance Lushnjë registered on 10.06.2022 criminal proceedings no. 353, for the criminal offense "Assistance for illegal crossing of the border", provided by article 298 of the Criminal Code, on behalf of citizens:

- AD, born and resident in Tirana.
- AB, born in Tepelena and resident in Vlora.
- RJ, born in Tropoja and living in Tirana.

Këta tre shtetas janë kapur në flagrancë nga shërbimet e policisë gjyqësore të Komisariatit të Policisë Lushnjë dhe Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Fier, në orët e vona të natës së datës 08.06.2022, në aksin rrugor Lushnjë – Fier, pranë rrethrrotullimit të Savrës, Lushnjë, duke shoqëruar/transportuar me mjete, në bashkëpunim mes tyre, njëmbëdhjetë shtetas të huaj (shtatë pakistanezë dhe katër indianë), për të kaluar në mënyrë të paligjshme kufirin e territorit shqiptar për në vendet e Bashkimit Evropian. Pas arrestimit në flagrancë, ndaj tyre është caktuar masë sigurimi “arrest në burg”, parashikuar nga neni 238 i Kodit Penal.

Following the investigation of the criminal case, after the administration, examination and analysis of their telephone communications, as well as other investigative actions, the Prosecutor's Office at the Lushnjë Court of First Instance has charged the above three citizens and at the end of the investigation, prepared the request for sending the criminal case to court, in their charge, for the criminal offense "Aiding for illegal crossing of the border", provided by article 298 prg. 3 of the Criminal Code, which will be forwarded immediately to the Court of First Instance Lushnjë together with the complete acts of the bundle./ CNA.al
