Serious in Korçë/ 64-year-old woman commits suicide, jumps from the fifth floor

A serious event was reported in the city of Korça where a 64-year-old woman ended her life. 

The police announce that she jumped from the height of a building, while the steps that led to the act of self-immolation are still unknown, but her family members state that she suffered from depression.

On 23.09.2022, around 11:30, in neighborhood no. 10, Korçë, VG citizen, about 64 years old, who was taken to the Korçë Hospital and is currently under the care of doctors, is suspected to have committed suicide from the fifth floor of a building. From the statements received from her family members, it appears that this citizen suffered from depression.

The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
