The new director of money laundering, Iris Ago

The General Director of Prevention of Money Laundering, Elvis Koçi, has been dismissed. It is learned that Iris Ago has been appointed in his place.

But who is the new director of money laundering?

Iris Ago was born in Tirana in 1987. He completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, branch Finance-Accounting during the period 2005-2009, further continued his studies Master of Science VITET, at the European University of Tirana, and holds MSc Banking and Insurance.

Që prej muajit Dhjetor 2021 është emëruar në pozicionin Këshilltar në Ministrinë e Financave dhe Ekonomisë.

Ajo ka mbajtur pozicionin e Drejtor në Drejtorinë e Tatimpaguesve të Mëdhenj nga 2020 deri më 2021.

Gjatë periudhës 2017- 2020 ka drejtuar Drejtorinë e Kontrollit Tatimor, pranë Drejtorisë së Përgjithshme të Tatimeve. Nga 2016- 2017 ka mbajtur detyrën e Këshilltarit pranë Drejtorit të Përgjithshëm të Tatimeve.

Znj. Ago ka ushtruar profesionin e saj si konsulente financiare, koordinatore dhe në menaxhimin e projekteve të ndryshme në sektorin privat prej 2009-2016. Ajo ka përvojë dhe ekspertizë të thelluar në fushën e konsulencës financiare; tatimore dhe kontabilitetit për kompanitë të sektorëve të ndryshëm; këshillim për fondet e investimeve; planifikim marketingu; studime fizibilitetiti; studim tregu; plan biznesi; konsultim për marrëdhëniet e shoqërisë me institucionet financiare për kreditim ose financim; konsultim për marrëdhëniet e kompanisë me sektorin publik. Pjesë e rëndësishme e detyrave gjatë përvojës në sektorin privat ka qenë dhe angazhimi në disa projektë strategjike, si ai i gazsjellësit TAP.

He has been trained on National and International Accounting Standards (KAS & IFRS), Leadership Challenges in Albania organized by George Washington University, and has contributed to the 'Doing Business' program for many years.
