Collapse of the sidewalk on the Pogradec-Qafë Plloçë/Ziko axis: Repair works to be completed within a week

A day after the case of damage to a section of the sidewalk on the Pogradec-Qafë Plloçë axis was made public, the authorities have begun work to carry out the repairs.

Since the construction is within the works warranty, the construction company will also carry out the reconstruction.

Also present at the inspection today were Deputy Prefect Luan Maxhari and Deputy Mayor Paskalino Ziko.

Ziko stated that the sidewalk repair work will be completed within the week, while the lighting network has fallen prey to network thieves, who have now been detained by the police, but it is expected that the municipality will begin reconnecting the electricity.
