The head of protocol of the royal court, Beniamin Bakalli, in a TV show, accused the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana for publishing the video, which shows Elia Zaharia's fight with Prince Leka.
According to him, this video was published by the prosecutor's office, as it is not the first time such things have happened. He emphasized that this video is not in favor of either Elias or Prince Leka and the third party that published this video did not think that it would become so viral.
The official further indicated that the video was delivered via USB in a sealed envelope to the police.
"For me, the prosecution is to blame for publishing the video. I was in Rome when it happened and we Albanians from the prosecution or SPAK know two weeks before that Berisha will be arrested. How do we know this information? The prosecution is 100% to blame. The video is delivered with USB in a sealed envelope to the police. I don't think the police did it, within 24 hours they handed it over to the prosecutor's office and the envelope was opened at the prosecutor's office and everything came out. This video was taken by third parties who did not they thought that this video would become so viral, so they didn't think about the consequences./ CNA
