The Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi, today visited the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Elbasan, to see closely the progress of the teaching process at the start of the new academic year.

The minister said that medicine remains one of the branches most sought after by young people. 

In one of the classes, Minister Kushi said that students do not have to leave after finishing their studies.

"Don't run away from us abroad, when you finish we want you here".

She also gave a message about the protest being held by the lecturers who are demanding a salary increase.

"Despite the concerns and demands that we have, the teaching process should not be harmed", said Kushi./CNA.al
