Police data leak/ Chuçi: It is not the database of the MEMEX system

Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi

Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi has reacted to the latest cyber attack, where hackers have blacklisted the police.

In a statement to the media, Minister Çuçi stated that the list is not the database of the MEMEX system that the criminal police have.

Furthermore, Çuçi stated that the FBI and Microsoft are investigating the attack.  

" The list that has been published I say with full guarantee that it is not the database of the MEMEX system that the criminal police have. You know they attacked us. We are investigating, we have a very good team from Microsoft that will be here throughout. All systems will recover.

We have recovered many systems in record time. There were also speculations. The list that was published today is not part of the database of the Memex system. We are investigating together with the FBI ", declared Minister Çuçi outside the Assembly./ CNA.al
