The Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has reacted to the accusations raised by the opposition, regarding the non-application of the increase in the price of electricity for households that spend over 800 kah.
During the speech in the Assembly, Balluku said the Energy Regulatory Authority is being attacked without right just because it is implementing the Government's decision.
"You who jump at ERE because you have nothing to do with the donkey and fall for the donkey, is not good. ERE has honorable men and women. You have a week of tearing them apart with no rights. ERE has done the job properly, it is the duty of ERE or the government. If the government is going to protect the citizens, will ERE come out and tell us not to protect them?" , she said, while mocking the opposition.
"Is the opposition upset that the cause of the protest fell to them?! ", she emphasized, arguing that there is no reason for the opposition to attack ERE for not applying the price increase./ BA - CNA.al
