In response, the ministry says that students are informed through the lessons about the danger that comes from the use of narcotics.

In the response given to CNA, the Ministry of Education says that the security officer in the educational institution constantly monitors the environment around suspicious situations, the entry of unauthorized persons, prevents and manages emergency and violence cases.

"We inform you that drug education in pre-university education curricula is covered in different subjects. Thus, in the subject of Biology, students get their first knowledge about drugs in the 4th grade of basic education, and develop it up to the 12th grade of higher secondary education.

This course deals with the impact of drugs on the functioning of body systems, growth, development, behavior, incidence of non-communicable diseases at the local, national and global level.

In the subject 'Physical education, sports and health', issues of education against drugs in general and anti-doping in sports in everyday life, their short-term and long-term effects, their influence on decision-making, their effects on sports performance and recognition of activities are addressed. and the mission of international and national anti-doping organizations in sports.

In the subjects Civics and Psychology, drugs and other harmful substances such as alcohol, tobacco, etc., are part of their curriculum and are treated in the framework of the topic of health, its value and its protection by each individual and by society in general.

In the subject of Citizenship, the issue of health is treated as a civic, moral and, above all, legal responsibility. The curriculum of the subject of Psychology enables students to become familiar with drugs and the impact they have on the human psyche from the point of view of damage to health", says the ministry's response.
