Journalist Mentor Kikia commented today on the much-discussed case regarding judge Irena Gjoka.

Invited to the show 'Now', Kikia said that Gjoka currently has the law in her favor, but not morality as a judge.

Kikia accused that the irregularities in the verifications are an indication that machinations were used within the verification structures in this case.

"I don't know if the lady had declared her final sentence by the Greek authorities, would she have passed the vetting or not? If this would not have constituted an obstacle to passing the vetting, then the question that arises is why did she hide it? The unofficial data declared publicly, but at least not refuted, speak of machinations within the verification structures, whether in the first instance or in the second instance. What worries me is that a judge with these problems has passed the vetting. Lawyers have fled because they did not justify a communist-era apartment, so there can be no justification. It is not like all Albanians. The judge is God on Earth and the 'exiled' must be fair. For this reason, the law may be in favor of the lady, but morality is not in favor. I believe that even faith should not be based on the violation or not on time, "said Kikia./CNA
