The Financial Supervisory Authority reported today its annual activity to the Committee on Economy, Employment and Finance.

The head of AFSA, Adela Xhemali, in her report, said that for 2025 there were about 250 complaints out of over 70 thousand claims. Xhemali said that all complaints have been handled and 59% of them have been resolved in favor of the consumer.

Further, Xhemali spoke about the national agricultural scheme, where he said that the authority will be part of the work group to assist with the technical and regulatory level.

 

" There are about 250 complaints for 2025, out of over 70 thousand damages. All complaints have been handled by the authority and of all complaints handled, 59% of them have been resolved in favor of the consumer. There are companies that repeat the measure and these companies are supervised. The teams have increased attention when there are complaints.

Regarding the national agriculture scheme, the authority will be part of the working group to assist with the technical and regulatory level.

"From the regulatory perspective of the authority, there are no limitations on what can be invested in the markets, there is still room to invest and expand the portfolio in alternative instruments ," said Xhemali./CNA
