"Rama decides on every project in Albania"/ Kapri: He has lost his

Mundësia Party MP Erald Kapri commented this evening on the submission of the book "The Albanian Files" to SPAK.

Invited to a television show, Kapri stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama decides on every project that is carried out in Albania, starting from the architect, to the investor and to the budget.

Among other things, he said that Rama is now a prime minister who has "lost his compass" while, according to him, he is personally denigrating the protesters.

Kapri praised the work done by SPAK, but according to him, their historic mission ends with the indictment of the prime minister.

"After the protest activists took him to SPAK, I also made a reaction regarding this issue, I read "The Albanian Files" with great attention. And I took a specific case, it was very significant. One of the most famous architects in the world, Alejandro Aravena, who is from a famous Chilean studio, said in the book: The prime minister called me personally. To come here to do a project. Do you understand? The gentleman came, he did the project. Rama did it without an international competition, he was the chairman of the jury, and he approved the project.

For a 300-meter high tower in the center of Tirana. So, a 140-300-meter high tower in Tirana. So, this is a direct accusation. That is, the prime minister decides here who will be the architect, who will win the project, who will be the investor, he will also determine the amount of money for everything.

And in one of the reactions that he had during the confrontation that I and the leader of the Opportunity Party had in parliament with Rama, it was precisely his relationship with justice and we mentioned to him, that you will face justice.   And this worried him and he reacted, "Why will I face justice" he said. He seems to be a prime minister who has already lost his compass while he has reached the stage where he is personally denigrating the protesters.

Where will it go after this? So we expect justice to do its part. SPAK has done a commendable job so far with many of the files, but as we have said publicly, I have said it here in your studio and I say it again, if SPAK does not indict Edi Rama, it has not completed its historic mission. So only indicting the prime minister would really complete the job ," Kapri said. /CNA
